For my sociology major, I chose the leopard shark as its symbol because of its social and gentle nature. Throughout my portfolio, I used different species of sharks to represent each of my majors and minors, reflecting both my academic interests and my personal connection to these animals. I’ve always had a strong appreciation for sharks, which likely comes from my father, who has long been fascinated by them. Each shark represents a different style of my writing.
