Throughout my portfolio I chose sharks to represent my three different majors and minors. I have always had a special place in my heart for sharks which likely stemmed from my father who is obsessed with them. I chose different species of sharks to represent my different styles of writing. For my writing minor I chose a "pink tip" reef shark which was an image created by one of my favorite clothing brands called Finatics. They used the image as an April fool's joke. I think this shark represents the creative aspect of my writing. One of my favorite colors is pink so I really love this image, and it just brings me joy which writing does as well.
